While it can be fun to figure out where we fit in, on a spiritual level I cannot ignore the fact that our desire to belong to something greater than ourselves, make sense of our complex human nature, connect with others, feel good about ourselves, and of course quickly answer the, “How would you describe yourself?” question is being exploited. There is a fine line between having interests and adapting these interests as your identity and the sole origin of your value as a person.
